This is a solo project so far, and I’ll probably need an editor available Tuesday nights (GMT-5) if anyone is interested. Keep in mind this is a speedsub.
This episode is titled “episode. 0”, and it is very recap-heavy, so be warned.
If you don’t like recap episodes this probably isn’t worth your time… I am digging the new OP and ED though.

I’ll be using the official naming convention from now on, so next week’s episode will be labeled episode 01. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

I’m not a really fan of recap episode. And I was watching episode 25 from the 1st season, just to starting to watch the 2nd. But I’ll stop watching the last episode, and I’ll watch this recap.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I’ll try to do chapters next episode. I lost the font settings from season 1, as this is a new computer. I’ll try to see if any of the old members still has them. Sunberries consisted of another translator and timer, but they became too busy and sort of dropped out after episode 17 of season 1. So technically, every release past episode 17 of season 1 is just FMS, but I decided to keep the naming convention for the rest of the season.

I just mux the script with the .mkv. It plays fine for me using wmplayer and the cccp codec.

What raw did you use? Just curious whether you transcoded it from a larger raw or what – and what the resolution on this encode is – and what the broadcast resolution was. (480p, 720p, 1080p, something else?) Can we expect the regular episodes to be larger, if the raws or ts are HD, or ?
The reason I ask is I noticed yours is about the size I used to expect a 23-minute Anime episode to be, with decent quality and excellent playability, but the faggots at gg have a 362MB release of S2E0. gg has a tendency to make theirs larger than necessary (a-la coalgirls) so I’m not surprised theirs is more than twice as big as yours, but I wonder if it’s because they have a HD TS to work from and they are the faggots they are about massive transcodes, while your source is a p2p raw at lower res, or what.
Bottom line, though: 1) thank you for not being an encode snob like the turds at gg and 2) keep up the good work, and thank you for doing S2!

Would appreciate script for each episode, please. I download small raws because I have a pitiful net connection, so it’d help a lot to be able to mux the script in instead of having to download another video 3 times larger. 😦

Not sure… what media player are you using? I use windows media player with the codec from http://www.cccp-project.net/ and it plays fine for me.

So this same partial setup seems to cause problems only in some cases (e.g., yours). So without further details on your specific setup (e.g., OS, processor, RAM, graphics card, graphics driver, codecs installed, player version) there is no way to remotely tell where the problem lies. A slow computer may use a timing to gradually get lost behind a video (that’s what I know from experience).
However, your best bet would likely be to just try out some different setup. The most painless first try might be to install VLC. It won’t mess with your system or codecs and despite fansub people speaking bad of its quality, it plays pretty much everything (from my experience). And the past has shown that even players suggested by people who see VLC as the root of all evil as regards playback problems can fail. My tip to all: use VLC before you try anything else, be it only for not having to configure anything.

Hi! First off, Thank you so much for taking on the second season! I love your subs ^^. I tried clicking “megaupload” yesterday and today but for some reason a webpage comes up saying the link is “invalid”
